Next Gen family,

May was a month that reminded us that taking care of our community means also taking care of ourselves.

With our theme of Impact on Wellness, we turned our focus inward. We spoke about the importance of taking the time you need, finding that creative outlet and relying on those around you. Impact requires capacity and we can't show up for our community if we're running on empty.

On the service side, our members were out in full force. This month, we volunteered at the Chili Cook-Off, a local track meet, attended our final Interact meeting of the year, showed up for our Interact club's family night to support our students, and supported riders at Bike MS.

We're also excited to welcome four new members to the club! Each new member brings fresh energy and perspective, and we can't wait to see the impact they'll make. The club and our ability to make positive impact keeps growing!

Speaking of making an impact…congratulations to Risa Middleton, our newest Paul Harris recipient! Risa will be stepping into the presidency in July, and if you know Risa, you know she's bringing big ideas and even bigger energy to the role. We couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.

In closing out May's theme, we continue to lean into flexibility and adaptability. We will continue to give ourselves grace, check in on each other, and make sure wellness stays at the center of everything we do.

Keep getting out there, leading by example and making a difference, NextGen!

Yours in Service,

Patrick Rankin
